Set up marketplace alerts on a browser, phone or tablet

Create something worth alerting you about

Finish the first search, check its summary and save it. Flipinator can then explain that new matches may trigger alerts on this device. Choosing “Turn on alerts on this device” opens the browser or operating-system permission prompt. There is no delivery menu inside the search itself.

If you decline, the search still runs and matches still appear in Feed. The permission controls interruption on that particular browser, phone or tablet; it does not delete the account or search.

Treat each device separately

Allowing alerts on a laptop does not automatically allow them on a phone. Sign in on the device, open Settings and enable alerts there when useful. Native mobile apps use the operating system’s notification settings, while the web app uses browser push support.

A work computer may not be the right place for personal listing alerts. A tablet used only at home may need quieter operating-system settings. Flipinator registers the device after permission, while sound, summaries, Focus modes and notification display remain under device control.

Recover when alerts stop

First check Feed. If new matches are present there, the search is working and the problem is likely device permission or registration. Review the browser site setting or the app’s notification setting. Then use the current-device status in Flipinator Settings to retry safely.

If Feed is also quiet, inspect the search state, marketplace availability and criteria rather than repeatedly toggling notification permission. Support can help with a public-safe reference without asking for device tokens or sign-in codes.
